1. Bequest in Your Will or Living Trust

The simplest, most popular planned gift. Add a single sentence to your existing will or trust naming P.A.C.E. Foundation as a beneficiary — for a specific dollar amount, a percentage of your estate, or what’s left after loved ones are cared for.

Sample bequest language: “I give to P.A.C.E. Foundation, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit (EIN 87-0765799) with offices at 1505 Kansas Ave, Lorain, OH 44055, the sum of $______ [or ___% of my residuary estate] for the support of WNZN Power 89.1 FM.”

2. Beneficiary Designation

Name P.A.C.E. Foundation as a beneficiary of your retirement account (IRA, 401(k), 403(b)), life insurance policy, or bank/brokerage account. Often the most tax-efficient way to give — retirement assets given to charity bypass income tax entirely.

3. Qualified Charitable Distribution (QCD)

Are you 70½ or older? You can give up to $105,000 per year directly from your IRA to WNZN, tax-free. The gift counts toward your Required Minimum Distribution and isn’t treated as taxable income.

4. Gifts of Appreciated Stock or Mutual Funds

Donating appreciated securities held longer than one year lets you deduct the full fair-market value and avoid capital-gains tax. A powerful way to give more while paying less.

5. Real Estate

Gift a home, vacation property, or commercial building outright, retain a life estate (continue living there), or use it to fund a charitable remainder trust that provides you income for life.

6. Charitable Gift Annuity or Charitable Remainder Trust
